This first photograph i used an fstop of 9.0 and a shutter speed of 1.3. Because it was so slow I was surprised that you could actually see at least the darker parts where the numbers on the ruler would be. The second photograph i used a fstop of 9.0 again but i used a 1.0 shutter speed this allowed it to have in focus up to the 3 inch mark.
